There are many reasons for starting therapy. There may be current stressors in our life that have left us feeling lost, frustrated and angry or confused, such as problems at work, a bereavement or relationship difficulties.
Maybe the ways that we have been coping aren’t serving us anymore and we feel stuck in limiting beliefs about ourselves and others.
Many of us can struggle in relationships or with difficult family dynamics and there may be unconscious patterns coming up again and again in our life that bring pain and unhappiness.
Or for others, traumatic events and experiences may have had a lasting negative effect, and it may be time to carefully turn our attention to how this is impacting us, in both mind and body.
